Description
Massive, spectacular vintage live-edge cross section slab coffee table. The amorphic freeform table has been restored with several new hand buffed coats of satin poly-oil finish. The edges are raw, unaltered by man. The rugged, natural, material has been forever frozen in time. No goofy hairpin legs on this one. The top is easily supported by a massive, gnarly, expansive charred root stump. The stump has also been brushed with poly-oil satin clear coat. The clear-coat on the base perfectly locks the char while preserving the texture and natural look. Light ignites this table, dancing through the brilliant hues of patina, illuminating the warm honey-red colored wood. Pictures simply don’t convey the true magnificence of this piece . A sight to behold in person.
