Furnish Me Vintage now offers free nationwide shipping on all orders over $1,500. Items purchased in-store or on our website, with a merchandise pre-tax total of $1,500 or more, qualifies for free shipping. Depending on size of the item we will ship via door to door Fedex ground (boxed) or freight (blanket wrapped). We only ship to the Continental USA. International orders are not eligible for free shipping. Contact our staff if you have special shipping circumstances.
We deliver to the Tampa Bay area and parts of central Florida and South West Florida. Furnish Me Vintage prides itself on offering fast, safe, local delivery service. Ask our sales staff or a price quote on your local delivery at the time of purchase. Be sure to let us know of your targeted date for delivery and if you have and delivery obstacles or special instructions. If you have an elevator or stairs let us know. Be sure to make prepare your home for our arrival on your delivery date. This means clearing the path for delivery, clearing the area where you would like your furniture to be placed and putting away pets so that they are not a hinderance to our delivery team. Some condo and apartment buildings require prior notice on delivery. Make any necessary arrangements with your building management if necessary.
NATIONAL SHIPPING DETAILS
Small items can be shipped via ground shipping such as FedEx, UPS or US Postal Service. Large items will be shipped via freight. An adult must be present to receive, and sign-off on freight deliveries. Prepare for your delivery by having someone to help you bring your item indoors if you are ordering something large. Freight delivery will deliver to the door, but does not always include inside delivery. You may also be responsible for un-crating or disposing of packaging material in some cases.
Inspect your shipment at the time of arrival. Look for visible signs of damage on the exterior of the package. Photograph any external damage BEFORE opening the package. Open up the crate at the time of delivery to make sure the item(s) are intact inside. It is important that you inspect for damage at the time of delivery and not later. Reporting damage after delivery may endanger your ability to achieve a favorable insurance claim. Freight deliveries: Notify the driver(s) of damage and make note of damage on the bill of lading paper work before signing and accepting the shipment. Parcels must be accepted in order to start the insurance claim process. Do not refuse shipments. If shipment is refused buyer is responsible for original AND return shipping fees. Initiate your damage claim within 24-48 hours of receiving the parcel. Contact the carrier directly to report the claim. If you have questions, contact us, we will guide you through the process. It is absolutely imperative that you follow all instructions specified by the shipping carrier and/or insurance carrier. Keep all original packing material AND merchandise. Do not dispose of the packing material or merchandise until your claim in settled. Submit all necessary documents and photos required. Do this in a timely manner. The sooner you get your documentation in, the faster your claim is processed and settled. Call or e-mail us if you are having any difficulty with the claim. We will help provide any support or documentation you may need.
Freight shipping is estimated at 1-4 weeks transit time. Ground delivery is estimated at 2-10 business days transit time. Keep in mind that transit times are estimated, not guaranteed, plan accordingly. Please let us know if you have deadlines for delivery or black out dates (when you will not be home). We will work with our carriers to target delivery for a date that works for you.
