Original signed landscape oil painting by O.G. Lewis”The Gospel Artist.” A traveling minister, Lewis was a prolific artist creating many works on his missions. The majority of his work depicted religious subjects. This piece is unique in that “The Gospel Artist” deviates from his usual theme with this bucolic cottage scene. The piece is oil paint on board, framed with artist signature and date at bottom.
