Description
Stunning pair of rosewood Danish Mid Century Modern nightstands. Designed by luminary Ib Kofod Larsen for Falster Mobelfabrik of Denmark, circa early 1960s. Stamped with the maker’s mark. Rich, black cherry and chocolate hues in the rosewood finish. Accented on the perimeter and pulls with deep reddish brown rosewood. Tambour door is in fantastic shape, glides smoothly. Interior cabinet holds one adjustable height shelf and drawer. Finished on all four sides. Four-star Burke tulip chair bases are a post-market modifications. Fresh black paint on the bases. The four-star pedestal bases can be turned 360 degrees allowing one to take full advantage of these beauties from all angles. Would work well in an office as supplemental storage. Use these as nightstands, end tables or storage cabinets. Picture these cabinets opposite an Eames lounge chair — sexy.
