Retro Heywood Wakefield buffet. Lots of storage here with three large drawers down the center and cabinets on the left and right sides. Both cabinets hold two interior shelves. Solid birch wood construction. Note the elegantly sculpted solid birch door pulls and slightly projecting lip along the top edge perimeter. This piece bridges the worlds of Art Deco and Mid Century Modern. Circa 1950s, a fine piece of American design heritage. Stamped with the maker’s insignia.
