Mid-Century Modern bar cart or serving cart by Davis Cabinet Company, circa 1960s. Made of solid mahogany wood with a fly speck finish that gives it a somewhat gently rustic look. Finished on all sides and mounted on brass caster wheels, this bar cart is a great addition to any room. The cabinet doors feature an etched botanical design along the facade. The top of this cart flips open, exposing a black Formica top, doubling in length to create the perfect bar and large serving area. On either side are supports which pull-out to support the extra weight, and then tuck in neatly when not being used. The cabinet doors swing open revealing one interior shelf which is cut into a semicircle allowing space for easy storage of larger bottle and items. The back shelf is a perfect height for rocks glasses or shorter barware.
Formica countertop open and fully extended measures 72″ long, when closed and folded over to the mahogany surface it measures 36″.
