Beautifully restored mid-century modern daybed sofa with trundle. This sofa is one of our finest restorations. The solid wood frame was miraculously preserved in a home that was closed for years. The American made sofa has a durable metal mesh webbing structure and old growth wood with marvelous character. Furnish Me Vintage salvaged the sofa, jettisoned the deteriorated cushions and had our restoration team begin reconstructing the sofa. The mattress cushions feature new foam and there is new sage green period appropriate fabric throughout. Essentially, this is a “new” vintage sofa. Our restoration team took special care to design the new cushions in a way to be comfortable for both sitting and sleeping. The lower portion of the sofa features a cleverly concealed trundle. Extend the lower portion to create a spacious bed large enough to fit two adults. Be sure to take a look at all of the photos to take-in the outstanding quality of this piece.
