Fornasetti’s Architettura Trumeau illuminated cabinet is one of the most desirable examples of Fornasetti-Ponti furniture. A stunning hybrid of a drop-front desk, bar and credenza. Three drawers, double door, and folding desk with (3) brass keys. A fantastic example in its original state, based on a Gio Ponti design. Recognized as an icon of Italian artistic design, Piero Fornasetti exhibits a masterful imagination. Precision and style in drawing are the artistic expression of the Fornasetti aesthetic: in this piece of furniture they meet surfaces and geometries that open up surprising images and perspectives.
Each piece is Hand-silkscreened and lacquered with slight variations. Any minor discrepancies between similar creations are the result of craftsmanship and attest to the uniqueness of each piece. This Trumeau was purchased directly from Fornasetti around 2015 and is in excellent condition.
