Description
Absolutely amazing, easily one of the most impressive pieces Furnish Me Vintage has had to offer. This large Mid Century Modern German “Rockabilly” shrunk blows most any Danish piece of the era out of the water. Produced by Nussberg Mobler of Germany, circa early 1950s. It’s no wonder that the nation that brought us Bauhaus also created this atomic age masterpiece. In Germany, they call this style “Rockabilly.” A fitting moniker conjuring images of Graceland and Jerry Lee Lewis’ home in the minds of Americans. Tons of storage with this piece. Two large cabinets on the left and right sides, each having two adjustable height shelves. A glass sliding door and glass shelf china cabinet is front and center. Three felt-lined drawers in the center outfitted with sculpted wood pulls. The bottom-most section of the unit has a long cabinet space with sliding doors. Use this in an office as a wall unit for endless private storage. Display awards and credentials in the sparkling china cabinet. At home this can be used as a sideboard with collectibles or find dinnerware displayed in the china cabinet. Even use this as a bar — the possibilities are endless. Make this heirloom quality European cabinet the cherry on top your 20th Century furniture collection.
