Striking set of eight Frank Lloyd Wright style cherry wood dining chairs. The solid cherry chairs were made in Italy and certainly show the Italian flair for fine design. The Frank Lloyd Wright inspired design features a high back with verticals guiding the eye skyward. This aesthetic is reminiscent of the Robie Chair that Wright designed for his famous Robie House. This design deviates from the Robie chair with it’s grid pattern at top. This grid pattern mimics window arrays on Prairie style homes, another nod to F.L. Wright. The backs are elegant and practical with a slight contour to aid in comfort. This group is a rare set of eight dining chairs! Two of the eight were unused and still wrapped in plastic when they arrived at our shop. All of the chairs have been detailed and steam cleaned for your enjoyment.
