Description
Large vintage Broyhill Brasilia designed by Oscar Niemeyer, 1962, dining table. This table is shown in the photos with one leaf insert. There are actually three leaf inserts that come with this table, 12″ wide each. Two of the leafs came in the original Broyhill Brasilia box from 1962, they were never used. Use the table daily in it’s compact form of 66″ long. Add the leaves to gain 12″ more width, for a maximum of 8.5′ of length! Go from seating a family of four to hosting a dinner party of twelve. Insane amount of length and flexibility hear. Beautiful deep walnut wood, Scandinavian tapered pencil legs. This table has a super sexy, thin Danish style profile. In great vintage condition with no scratches. Minor wear includes some lighter areas along the table edge. The leaves are lighter than the main table top, typical of vintage tables. We six matching Broyhill Brasilia dining chairs (original upholstery) and two credenzas (sold separately).
