Description
Midcentury Hollywood Regency Henredon dresser or credenza from their “Circa 60” line. Time capsule piece in outstanding condition. The all wood (no composite) walnut body on this Henredon dresser has acquired a rich, earthy, rust-like patina. Exaggerated, elongated, recessed elliptical pulls made with contrasting dark, tawny walnut. Introduced in the 1950s, Henredon’s ads from that time described their forward-looking “Circa ’60 Collection” as being “designed to blend with any period harmoniously.”
The cabinet is suspended by an Asian modern style arched plinth base with heavy-duty castes. Top drawers feature removable dividers and jewelry trays. The piece is in outstanding condition. Professionally detailed top to bottom. Exterior drawer fronts have virtually now flaws. Top has been professionally refinished by our in-house restoration team.
About Henredon Fine Furniture Company:
Henredon was founded in Morganton, North Carolina in 1945 by four men determined to build furniture of custom quality. The initial product line consisted of just three chests. It has since mushroomed into hundreds of beautiful wood and upholstery designs for every room.
While new manufacturing techniques are used you will still find that there is a considerable amount of hand and detail work performed on each piece. In these days of mass production a Henredon item will truly be unique.
Henredon has always taken a leadership role in designing and manufacturing some of the finest furnishings available. Our success is based on the talent and effort of the individuals that work for Henredon. Today, among people of discriminating taste, the name Henredon represents the best.
