Mid century modern painting, vintage 1968, by E. Sanchez. The oil painting entitled “Traspatio” depicts a three individuals approaching a large, fort like building. Traspatio translates to “backyard” in English, but the building in this painting looks more institutional rather than residential. The gold and yellow tones add warmth to the image. The original wood frame is painted black and gold. The piece is signed by the artist on front and in back.
