Description
Vintage 1960s teak dining table from Stanley Furniture’s “Danish Forum” line. Table comes with one 12″ leaf insert. A remarkable American rendition of Scandinavian design. They pulled out all the stops. American manufacturers almost never used teak. Stanley even went so far as to borrow the signature Danish style solid wood cylindrical legs. Wonderful shape to the table top. A tapered rectangle that guides the eye along the vanishing point. Thin profile, yet sturdy. This table becomes one with the space around it. A slight look achieving the sought after “open, airy” feel. We have a china hutch to match (sold separately).
