Some people rescue animals, at Furnish Me Vintage we rescue objects. Presenting the first of what will be an ongoing series of before & after shots of some of our favorite pieces. We try find furniture in great condition. More often, we find pieces that have great bones, but have been mistreated and neglected over the years. It gives us great pleasure to restore these items and find them loving homes. Here’s a shot of a pair of 1950s era children’s size rocking lounge chairs. With new upholstery and a coat of stain on the wood frame of one of the chairs…they’re ready to start their second journey of life.
